Shop owner Tony has over 11 years of experience at the Honda & Acura Dealership as an mechanic. He has been factory trained on Honda and Acura vehicles. Tony dreamed of opening his own shop to provide quality service that he felt many shops overlooked. In 1999, Tony opened Kearny Mesa A & H Specialist where he treats every customer like an old friend. Kearny Mesa A & H Specialist will provide you quality service at a reasonable price.

I went here on recommendations from my cousins. I've always had good service at this place. I've had a side mirror replaced, tail light replaced, and those maintenance things you're supposed to do every X amount of miles. Each visit was at a priced well and with good service. I do have to mention that Tony gave excellent service when I got my side mirror replaced. First he told me that it would take about an hour and a half, but it actually took less than an hour. It was great for me because it meant more study time for my test. Then, when I dropped off my car I told him I was going to walk to Starbucks while they fixed my car. He called me to tell me my car was ready, so I started walking back toward the shop, and here comes Tony to pick me up in my car. I thought that was awesome for him to do that. Tony and his staff are very experienced, friendly and honest.  I've been taking my Honda here since 2001 for oil changes and repairs. Best shop experiences I've ever had. Not only did they do quality work on my 200K+ mile car, they were very personable. I have never been to a shop with this level of customer service. I made the mistake of going to a shop closer to my house in north county and when I came back to Tony and the crew at Kearny Mesa A&H, I felt like I was home again. Even though it had been months, Tony remembered my name and issues I had previously had with the car. I use to own a 1992 Honda Accord with 265K miles on it before I gave it away to a friend. While I had it, I would always go to Kearny Mesa A & H for servicing.  I've had my shocks & struts, timing belt, accessory belts, water pump, valve gasket, brakes, and a variety of other items replaced or repaired there.  They always did solid work.  They finished on time and never charged me more than the quoted price.  Sometimes, they would find additional problems while fixing the original problem, but would never do anything unless I approved it first.  This is a no pressure shop.  Tony is the owner and he's very friendly and knowledgeable.  He will tell you if something is in need of immediate repair or can wait.  The prices are very reasonable and he will tell you whether he's using factory parts or aftermarket parts.  One of the best things about this shop is that they repair almost nothing but Hondas and Acuras.  Which means whatever problem you may have with your car they probably have already done the same repair on another car about 50 times before yours.  My sister owns an Accord and now she goes there too.  Do yourself a favor and take your car to someone who specializes in Hondas and Acuras like Kearny Mesa A & H . ~ thanh n. yelp.com

Thank goodness for an honest mechanic who knows what he's doing! I just love this place. I've been taking my Acura here for years and never get more than I need from an honest and very reasonably priced shop. Tony is Terrific! Couldn't be happier.
